Being cobbled together from different regions and fields of activity, the idea to gather in an association (eingetragener Verein, “e.V.”) came up in November 2016. With some members’ subcultural activities going back in time over a decade, we felt the call to give our projects a platform and to promote them by creating a unionunit for our common interest – the promotion of arts and culture.

Our team is composed out of an international circle of people that all found together through their activities, friends and friends of friends. We all share an ambition to follow our intrinsic call for action – doing what we love .

We as a collective made it our task to promote the cooperation between art, culture and music collectives as well as to create synergies between diverse individuals, groups and structures of this informal art and music subculture.

»Kollektiv Spieltrieb e.V.« is a platform of exchange and co-creation. In times of profit over principals we want to promote long-term exchange, friendship and collaboration. As a logical consequence of these synergies we want to use, develop and re-create places and vacancies - in urban and rural areas.

We create space for open dialogue and cultural debate. We want to empower creative actors by giving them access to our network, exchanging knowledge and (where appropriate) granting infrastructure (premises, workshops etc.), encouraging discussions and living tolerance. In the colorful dress of music, art and culture - in physical and mental free space(s).
